Letter-by-letter inspection
Every existing scroll is opened and carefully read — not glanced at — to catch cracked, faded, or touching letters that invalidate the mezuzah.
Identification of missing mezuzot
Rabbi Levi walks the home with you and identifies every doorway that halachically requires a mezuzah.
Installation of new mezuzot
Doorways without a mezuzah are fitted with a kosher scroll at the proper side, height, and angle — with the bracha.
Replacement of damaged scrolls
When a scroll is not kosher and can't be repaired, a replacement scroll is available on the spot.
Written inspection certificate
You receive a written record of what was checked, what was found, and what was replaced.
Honest recommendations
You only replace what actually needs replacing. If a scroll is kosher, we say so.

Can I rely on the previous owner's mezuzot?
Not without checking. Even if the previous owner was observant, mezuzah scrolls in Miami's climate can crack, fade, or suffer letter damage over time. Scrolls of unknown origin may not have been kosher to begin with. The only responsible answer is a letter-by-letter inspection by a Certified Sofer STaM before you rely on them.
Do I need to replace all the mezuzot?
No. In most homes, some scrolls are fine, some need repair, and some need replacement. During the home visit Rabbi Levi inspects every scroll and gives you an honest recommendation for each doorway — you only replace what actually needs replacing.
How long does a home visit take?
A typical home visit takes 45 to 90 minutes depending on how many mezuzot the home has and whether new mezuzot need to be installed on doorways that were previously bare.
Can you install new mezuzot during the same visit?
Yes. Rabbi Levi brings kosher mezuzah scrolls with him and can install replacement or new mezuzot on the spot, at the correct height, side, and angle, with the bracha.
